There's no real reason for that to be plural, as these are only from one project: a doujinshi (fan magazine, essentially) for Anthropology 353: Pop Culture In & Out of Japan, Spring Semester 2009. In addition to being the group leader, I edited all the articles and adapted them for Photoshop. I designed the pages and, in some cases, added more to articles written by my group members if space was needed. All pages here, however, are my own.

Please keep in mind the project was satirical :)

hikikomori is a social problem in which (young) adults retreat into their bedrooms and refuse to come out, sometimes for years on end. This was an ad in which I parodied the ubiquitous pharmaceutical ads.
